“Based on observation and interview, the manager failed to ensure foods requiring refrigeration were maintained at 41°F or below. Findings include: 1. During a facility tour, the Compliance Officer observed the main refrigerator in the kitchen had an internal temperature of 55°F. The refrigerator contained milk, yogurt, and leftovers. 2. In an interview, E1 acknowledged food requiring refrigeration was not maintained at 41°F or below. E1 reported the facility had another refrigerator to use as a replacement, and contacted maintenance to facilitate.”

“Based on observation and interview, the manager failed to ensure frozen foods were stored at a temperature of 0°F or below.   Findings include: 1. During a facility tour, the Compliance Officer observed the main side-by-side refrigerator freezer, located in the facility's kitchen. The Compliance Officer observed the thermometer in the freezer read 35°F. The freezer contained multiple packages of meat, and all were observed to be frozen.   2. In an interview, E1 acknowledged frozen foods were not stored at a temperature of 0°F or below. E1 contacted maintenance to replace the unit.”
