“Based on observation and interview, the manager failed to ensure medications stored by the facility were stored in a locked area, which posed a health and safety risk to residents. Findings include: 1. During a facility tour, the compliance officer observed the following medications left in an unlocked area: -Amlopidine 10mg inside a cabinet in the kitchen. 2. In an interview, E1 and E2 acknowledged the medications were left unsecured inside the facility's kitchen cabinet.”

The surveyor observed the following poisonous or toxic materials, accessible in an unlocked laundry room: Glass cleaner. 2. In an interview, E1 acknowledged the poisonous or toxic materials were not stored in a locked area and were accessible to residents.”
